🍺 Willkommen to the Oktoberfest in my Kitchen! 🍺
The leaves turn golden, the air smells of firewood, and somewhere in Munich a brass band is playing at the top of its voice.
That can only mean one thing: it’s Oktoberfest season! And even though I can’t yodel (yet) without scaring the neighbors, I can cook—and, more importantly, I can eat!
So, grab your lederhosen (or sweatpants, I won’t judge), or dirndl, because today’s blog is all about bringing Oktoberfest season right to your table.
So there you have it—your ticket to Oktoberfest without having to leave your kitchen. Whether you want to clink beer mugs with friends or just eat sausages in your pajamas while watching Netflix, these recipes will keep the Bavarian spirit alive.
Here are my examples of what you can serve on an Oktoberfest evening!

Selbstgemachte gebrühte Knoblauch-Bratwurst
You can’t do without bratwurst!

Fränkische Bratwürste selbstgemacht
Or a slightly coarser sausage? Tastes delicious!

Selbstgemachte Schweinsbratwurst
And sausage again, in case you don’t like the ones above!

This absolutely requires a delicate potato salad!

And laugen rolls or pretzel are also an essential part of it!

Whether Swiss or German, this sausage and cheese salad is a real treat!

Deftig gefüllter Kartoffel-Gugelhopf
How about trying a hearty Gugelhopf cake?

A charcuterie board like this also looks great at Oktoberfest!

Bratwurst und Zwiebel Confit Finger-food
This finger food whets your appetite!

These rolls are very quick to make!

A roast pork is an absolute must!

And Spaetzle!

Dumplings are so quintessentially German!

Or these??

Schweinehaxen in Bier mit Serviettenknödel
Another delicious dish!

Meatloaf is always a good choice!

A really hearty bread is a must!

A braided Bread is also a must!

For dessert, a delicious plum cake with crumble topping.

or a really delicious ant cake!
