Marzipan Pralines

Pane-Bistecca
These marzipan pralines are very easy to make and taste wonderfully delicious!

We have a marzipan fan in our family and every Christmas I try to give him something special made with marzipan. Starting with Lübeck marzipan, marzipan potatoes, marzipan chocolate bars, marzipan-filled dates and Marzipan Cake.

I can assure you that these marzipan pralines don’t just taste good at Christmas! With coffee or simply for a sweet tooth in the afternoon, they are always perfect!

Ingredients

  • 400 g Marzipan

  • 400 g dark Chocolate

  • Possibly small sugar sprinkles

  • Silicone molds for pralines

Instructions

1

Step 1

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and then mix well.
2

Step 2

Knead the raw marzipan mixture well until it is soft and malleable. Then shape into small balls.
3

Step 3

Line the silicone molds and fill with a little sugar sprinkles as desired.
4

Step 4

Now pour some melted chocolate into the molds and tap the molds well on the table so that the chocolate sinks.
5

Step 5

Place the marzipan balls in the molds and fill the molds with the melted chocolate. Tap the molds well again. This allows air bubbles to escape.
6

Step 6

Leave to dry in a cold place. Then carefully press out of the molds.
