Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Honey

Pane-bistecca
Roasted sweet potatoes with honey and nicely spicy seasoning are a real treat! I like to serve them with grilled food because everyone likes them, and they are so easy to make.

These sweet potatoes are gluten-free and vegetarian, so they are also very suitable for people with allergies. Studies show that active ingredients in sweet potatoes can improve insulin sensitivity. The sweet potato plant, especially the leaves, is prepared in Africa in a similar way to spinach and is often served as a side dish with the sweet potatoes. Because sweet potatoes store high amounts of energy per area and growing time and nutrients and can adapt well to external conditions, they have been selected by NASA as a possible crop for longer space expeditions, for example to Mars.
