Herb and Garlic Butter

Pane-Bistecca
This herb-and-garlic butter is so easy to make and goes well with a wide variety of dishes.

Whether you serve it with beef steak or pork, rub it under the skin of a chicken, or even use it to top vegetables, the herbs make this butter the star of the show. You can mix in garlic, as I did, or leave it out—it’s up to you.

Either way, this butter is very quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 200 g soft Butter

  • ½ Bunch Parsley, chopped

  • 1 Handful Thyme

  • 6 Spring onions, chopped

  • 6 Garlic cloves, chopped

  • Salt and Pepper

  • ½ tsp Chili

Instructions

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend briefly.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 2–3 portions and wrap each portion in plastic wrap to form a roll.

Step 3

The butter freezes well; remove it from the freezer 1 hour before use.
