Hummus mit getrockneten Tomaten

Hummus with dried Tomatoes

Pane-Bistecca
Hummus is a creamy dip or sauce, which can be served to almost everything. The word is the Arabian word for chickpea.  It is being served all over the Arabian countries, and in Israel and Turkey too. The classic way is just pureed chickpeas with lemon juice, Tahini the sesame puree, cumin, olive oil and garlic. But you can adjust it to taste by adding other ingredients, to change the taste and the color.

I always say, the more colors on the table, the better! And it is so easy to make yourself!
