Simple Brownies

Simple brownies, quick to make and moist and chocolatey, just the way you want them! Simply irresistible!

Brownies are always welcome. After dinner, with coffee or just because you want to eat them, they always fit the bill. And once you have a quick and easy recipe, you can make them again and again. There are two ways to make them pretty: you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or cover them with a chocolate coating. They taste perfect both ways!

Ingredients

  • 200 g Butter

  • 200 g dark Chocolate

  • 4 Egg yolks

  • 200 g Sugar

  • 4 Egg whites

  • 1 Pinch of Salt

  • 4 tbsp Flour (or Almond flour for gluten-free)

  • Icing Sugar

  • 100 g Dark Chocolate melted

Instructions

Step 1

Melt the butter with the grated chocolate and leave to cool slightly.

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until light in color.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.

Step 4

Mix the chocolate mixture with the sugar mixture, fold in the flour and egg white.

Spread the mixture on a 28/28 cm baking tray and bake in the oven at 200 C degrees for 25 minutes.

Step 6

Once cooled, cover with powdered sugar or chocolate coating and cut into small squares.

Notes

You can also bake this recipe as a cake, or in small silicone molds, just adjust the baking time. You can replace the flour with almond flour to make it gluten-free! Here are more Brownie Recipes.
