Mandarinen-Limetten Lachs

Mandarin-Lime Salmon

Pane-Bistecca
You love my Lemon Salmon so much – and so do we – that I have now made a mandarin-lime salmon!

Mandarins are everywhere at the moment, so I thought why not use them with the salmon as they give it a nice flavor. I made it with limes, actually it doesn’t really matter which citrus fruit you use.

What you do need to do, however, is use some of the juice to marinate the salmon, so the fish is really good!

Ingredients

  • approx. 1 kg Salmon

  • Fresh Dill

  • 3-4 Mandarins

  • 2 Mandarinen, the Juice

  • 3 Limes

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Chili

  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, chopped (optional)

  • Butter

Instructions

1

Step 1

Grease a gratin dish and add the chopped garlic and a few sprigs of dill.
2

Step 2

Layer in the salmon and season well. Then pour over the mandarin juice.
3

Step 3

Peel the mandarins and place on top of the salmon, do the same with the limes or simply place slices of lime on top. Scatter the dill on top and add the butter flakes.
4

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 180 C degrees for 30-40 minutes, serve hot.

Notes

You can also serve this salmon lukewarm or cold and serve it with a Dip.
