Salmon-Cream Cheese Dip

Whether as finger food or a starter, this salmon-cream cheese dip is simply delicious!

It is very easy to make and can be decorated in different ways. After all, you eat with your eyes. You can serve it with crackers, crispbread, toasted bagels or, like me, with corn tortillas. It is eaten up very quickly, believe me.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Ricotta

  • 200 g Cream Cheese

  • 1 Lemon, Zest and Juice

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Chili Powder

  • 200 g smoked Salmon

  • ½ red Onion, finely chopped

  • 1-2 tbsp Capers

  • Fresh Dill

  • or Parsley instead of Dill

  • or Gherkins, chopped, instead of Capers

  • or Zest and Juice of 1 Orange instead of Lemon

Instructions

Step 1

Beat the ricotta with cream cheese, lemon juice and spices, then place on a large plate and spread flat.

Step 2

Cut the salmon into smaller strips, roll up and place on top of the cream cheese.

Step 3

Sprinkle with the chopped onion, then scatter the capers on top.

Step 4

Top with the dill and finally sprinkle with the lemon zest. Serve with corn tortillas or something else.

Notes
