Wir waren in einem tollen Restaurant und da gab es zum Brot ein Gewürztes dipping Oel, es war echt toll. Zuhause habe ich dann aus Pizzateig Brötchen gemacht und das Oel dazu serviert. Die Brötchen sind weg und das Oel auch! Ich serviere es nun sehr oft, vor allem bei schönen Dinner Parties. .

We went to a great restaurant and there was a spiced oil with the bread, it was delicious. At home I made rolls out of pizza dough and served the oil with them. The rolls are gone and so is the oil! I serve it now often, especially at nice dinner parties!

Gewürztes dipping Oel

100 ml gutes Olivenöl
Wir haben hier kleine Peperoni, die würziger sind, in Europa gibt’s die nicht, das heisst, hier brauche ich 2 kleine, in Europa braucht man vielleicht ¾ einer Peperoni
½ rote Zwiebel
1 Knoblauchzehe
1 Ast Rosmarin
Salz und Pfeffer
Chili Pulver

Die Peperoni mit der Zwiebel, dem Knoblauch und Rosmarin mit dem Hacker ganz klein hacken. Dann das Oel und Gewürz zugeben und gut mischen. In ein Glas abfüllen, so ist es ca. 2 Wochen haltbar. Es schmeckt wunderbar zu Pizza Brötchen, Ciabatta Brötchen, Baguette und weichem Brot zum auftunken!

100 ml good Olive Oil
We have small capsicum here which are spicier, you don’t get them in Europe, that means here I need 2 small ones, in Europe you need maybe ¾ of a Capsicum
½ red Onion
1 clove of Garlic
1 branch of Rosemary
Salt and Pepper
Chili powder

Chop the peppers with the onion, garlic, and rosemary very finely with a chopper. Add the oil and spices and mix well. Fill into a jar, it will keep for about 2 weeks. It fits perfectly to Pizza Bread, Ciabatta bread, Baguette, and soft bread to dunk in it!
