Pork Schnitzel with Sour Cream Sauce

Pork cutlets with sour cream sauce, deliciously creamy and simply delicious. These cutlets are very easy to make and taste wonderful thanks to the sauce! Sour cream makes a big difference in sauces; I love the taste.

To keep it from getting boring, I added onions, garlic, and pepperoni, and of course lots of parsley. I served it with spaetzle and a salad, which made for a wonderfully well-rounded meal!

As you can see from the recipe, it’s all very simple and quick to make. I like to bring you simple, quick recipes because you can cook well even when you don’t have much time! No time doesn’t mean no good food!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 thin Pork Schnitzel

  • 1/2 yellow Capsicum, diced

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 2 Garlic clove, chopped

  • 1 Bunch Parsley, chopped

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Paprika

  • 2 tsp Flour

  • 50 ml Weisswein

  • 250 g Sour Cream

  • 1 tsp Gravy Powder

  • 20 g Butter

Stept 1

Place the cutlets on a cutting board and cover with plastic wrap. Flatten them well with a meat tenderizer or something similar. Remove the plastic wrap, season the cutlets well on both sides, and sprinkle with flour.

Step 2

Heat the butter in a shallow pan and sauté the chopped garlic and onion. Add the diced chili pepper and chopped parsley and fry thoroughly.

Now add the cutlets and fry well on both sides.

Place the cutlets on a warm plate and deglaze the pan with the white wine. Reduce briefly, then add the sour cream and gravy powder and heat gently over a low heat. Pour the sauce over the cutlets and serve.

Notes

I served my schnitzel with Spaetzli, but mashed Potatoes go also very well! More Schnitzel Recipes
