Coconut Pralines

Pane-Bistecca
For a birthday party, you can never serve enough treats. So, I made these coconut pralines from leftover coconut and chocolate. They are refreshing and sure to be popular. Quick to make and covered in dark or light chocolate depending on your preference, they are a treat. But they are not quite so easy to make, as I learned.

Ingredients

  • 180 g desiccated Coconut

  • 150 ml sweetened Condense Milk

  • 300 g dark or light Chocolate for coating

Instructions

1

Step 1

Knead the grated coconut well together with the condensed milk. Even if at first it looks like there is not enough liquid, it will come out right. Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes to soak the grated coconut.
2

Step 2

Then form small balls or elongated cylinders from the mixture. To do this, you must press the rasps well together, which is not so easy. Arrange them on a plate and let them cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3

Step 3

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate coating. Now pour this over the coconut balls so they are covered everywhere. Since you cannot impale the balls on a fork, you have to turn them carefully, which is difficult and so it may be that somewhere the coconut will be visible.
4

Step 4

Now let everything cool well and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Delicious coconut balls everyone loves!
