Potato Patties with Leek

Pane-Bistecca
I love to make potato cakes from mashed potato leftovers. This time I didn’t have mashed potato leftovers, but just boiled potatoes. As I didn’t have a passe-vite I had to mash them with the fork. The dough did not turn out as smooth as usual, but who cares. As long as the cakes are tasty. I filled these with leek, and they were delicious!

You can actually fill the potato cakes with anything you like, they are always perfect! Here are some examples: Potato Balls, Potato Waffles, Kroppkakor, Mashed Potato Beef Croquettes, Potato Croquettes, Broccoli Patties, Llapingachos, simple Croquettes, gluten-free Potato Patties.
