Ham Pockets

Pane-Bistecca
Ham pockets are a very quick and delicious finger food. There are so many small pastries that you can serve, which are loved by everyone.

For example, there’s the Ham Croissants, or the Sausage wreath, Puff Pastry Rolls with different Fillings and simply the Puff Pastry sticks. They are not hard to make and also do not need a lot of time. This time I made small pockets.

Step 1

Chop the ham and knead well with the cream cheese, herbs, and pepper.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into small rectangles, about 10/8 cm.

Make incisions 1/3 in on one long side. Put about 2 tsp of the ham mixture on the upper end and roll up from top to bottom. Press the incisions a little, otherwise they will open.

Step 4

Place them all on a baking tray covered with baking paper and brush with the beaten egg yolk. Bake in the oven at 220 C degrees for about 20 – 25 minutes until golden brown.
