Andrea’s Grittibaenze zum Samichlaustag – Andrea’s Bread Men for Santa Claus Day

1 Mins read

My parents are here in Switzerland at the moment and so I made an Advents calendar for them and my brother. Each day one of them gets to do something or he/she gets a gift. And today, the traditional Santa Claus day, a Grittibaenz has to be on the breakfast table! So, I baked some and todays note in the Advent calendar said “Enjoy”! You can bake them the classic way like my mum did, or the lazy way as I did. I found a flour mixture, that has all ingredients, except the liquid ones. So it was easy to make these bread men. My parents could enjoy their breakfast today and were so happy!
