Dulce de Leche Ice-Cream

Pane-Bistecca
I got some jars of Dulce de Leche from my Godchild Hannah living in the Philippines. She had made it herself! I could have eaten it with a spoon, it was soooooo good! I used it on anything even on very thin Crepes, so delicious! But I still had 2 jars leftover, so I needed to use them. That’s why I made ice-cream with them and it is so creamy and delicious!!!

You need only two ingredients and it couldn’t be easier! I served it and.. of course, there was almost nothing left for me to try!

Ingredients

  • 300 ml Dulce de Leche

  • 500 ml Cream

Instructions

Step 1

Beat the whipping cream until almost stiff. Add the dulce de leche and go on beating until fully mixed.

Step 2

Now pour this into prepared dishes to freeze. I used small cake forms, which I lined with cling-foil. As there is quite a lot of whipping cream the ice-cream will stay creamy and soft. That means, you don’t need to take it out of the freezer and mix up during the freezing process.

Step 3

Take it from the freezer 5 minutes before serving. Cut it into slices or form balls to serve. I served mine with some mango and some marinated strawberries.

Notes

You can serve it with French toast, crepes or other dishes.
