Eigentlich ist es Zeit der Zucchiniblueten. Ich fand auch welche. Sie waren relativ klein und nicht so schoen, deshalb habe ich sie nicht gefuellt wie im letzten Rezept, sondern einfach im Ausbackteig gebraten. Wir waren nur zu zweit, aber wir haben wie 4 Personen zugeschlagen!!
Fiori di Zucca sind fuer mich ein Highlight des Sommers. Da bin ich gleich wieder Kind, im Sommer in Italien. Erinnerungen kommen auf, im Garten am Blueten zupfen, Nonna in der Kueche am Teigchen vorbereiten, Sonne, Sommer….

It is time for zucchini flowers. I found some. They were relatively small and not that beautiful, but still good to fry. I did not fill them like in my last recipe. We were just the two of us, but we ate for 4!!! They were that good!
Fiori di Zucca are a Highlight in summer. I turn into a child again, summer in Italy. Memories come back…. we in the garden, picking the zucchini flowers, Nonna in the kitchen making the batter, summer, sun…

Fuer 4 Personen:
ca 16-20 kleine Zucchini Blüten

Die aeusseren Zacken der Blüten und den Stempel innen drin entfernen und die Blüten leicht absprühen. Auf Küchenpapier trocknen. 

Ausbackteig:
3 Eier
3 EL Mehl
1/4 TL Salz
3 EL Wasser

Diese Zutaten gut zusammen rühren. Die Zucchini Blüten durch den Teig ziehen und in heissem Oel beidseitig ausbacken. Sofort servieren!

For 4 Persons:
approx. 12-16 Fiori di Zucca

Take the thorns and the inner part of the flowers off. Spray them lightly under water and dry them on kitchen towels. 

For the batter:
3 Eggs
3 tbsp Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Water

Mix those ingredients well together. Pull the zucchini flowers through the batter and fry in hot oil. Serve immediately!
