
Simple layered Apple Cake

A simple layered apple cake is always a hit! Especially now, when there are so many different types of apples available, a quick and easy recipe like this is ideal.
In Switzerland, they make Apple Pie, or the Parish House Cake, both of which look beautiful, but they take time to arrange the apples nicely.
That’s why this cake is so practical, you simply slice the apples directly into the cake batter. It couldn’t be easier!

Ingredients
3 Eggs
100 ml Milk, lukewarm
50 g Butter, melted
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
120 g Flour
100 g Puderzucker
¾ tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 Pinch of Salt
4-5 Apples, best sour ones

Step 1
Beat the eggs with the powdered sugar until fluffy, then mix in the melted butter and milk, along with the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the mixture, beating well.

Peel the apples and slice them directly into the batter using a cucumber slicer. Mix everything well.

Then pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 60-70 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Serve it with Vanilla Ice-cream!
