Simple layered Apple Cake

Pane-bistecca
A simple layered apple cake is always a hit! Especially now, when there are so many different types of apples available, a quick and easy recipe like this is ideal.

In Switzerland, they make Apple Pie, or the Parish House Cake, both of which look beautiful, but they take time to arrange the apples nicely.

That’s why this cake is so practical, you simply slice the apples directly into the cake batter. It couldn’t be easier!
