Kartoffel-Gewuerz-Waffeln – Potato-Herb Waffles

1 Mins read

I think everybody knows potato cakes. I bought a new waffle iron and so I though why not try to bake the potato cakes in that. It worked well! And they are so easy to do. No messy work, no oil needed and they turned out crisp and delicious. I think I will stick to this method from now on!

Fuer ca 8 Waffeln:
400 g Kartoffelbrei-Reste
2 Eier
1/2 Bund Petersilie
Salz und Pfeffer
Chiliflocken
Paprika
1 Mozzarella Kugel, gerieben
50 g Paniermehl/Brotbroesel

For approx. 8 Waffles:
400 g left-over mashed Potatoes
2 Eggs
1/2 bunch Parsley
Salt and Pepper
Chili flakes
Paprika
1 fresh Mozzarella grated
50 g Bread-crumbs

Mix all ingredients together and fry batches in the waffle iron. Quick and easy! I served mine with a salmon fillet, fried on the skin side.
