We rarely eat steaks, usually one is enough for the two of us. But to make sure we get some red meat again, I cooked these steak bytes in herb butter for Valentine’s Day.
It’s not an light meal, because the herb butter is quite heavy, but the meat turns out wonderfully crispy and flavorful! And you can sin on Valentine’s Day, can’t you?

Ingredients
1 Ribeye Steak 200-300 g
Salt and Pepper
Chili
some Oil
50 g Herb Butter

Step 1
Season the steak well with salt, pepper and chili.

Heat a little oil in a shallow pan until it reaches the smoking point. Then add the steak. Fry briefly, then turn, fry again briefly and turn again. Continue like this until the steak is cooked the way you like it.

Remove the steak from the pan and leave to stand for 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt the herb butter in the same pan. Cut the steak into cubes and pour the melted butter over them.
