Who does not like garlic bread? I see just a few hands go up! This garlic butter for garlic bread is easy and quick to make! Garlic butter is not the only thing you can make with this roasted garlic, you can spread it directly on bread for a really garlicky feeling! Or you can mix it into a sauce with meat, or spread it on vegetables, there are so many possibilities.

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Garlic Bulbs

  • 250 g soft Butter

  • Chili to taste

  • 1 twig Rosemary

  • 2 twigs Thyme

  • Olive Oil

Step 1

Peel the garlic and put it in an ovenproof dish. Add the herbs and pour olive oil over them. It takes about 4-6 tablespoons, depending on the dish. The garlic cloves do not have to float. Roast in the oven at 180 C degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Step 2

Let cool slightly, remove the herbs, season, then add the butter and puree in a blender. Pour into a clean jar and refrigerate until firm.

Step 3

Spread the garlic butter on baguette slices and bake them in the oven at 180 C degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
