Cremige Polenta mit Wurst-Bolognese und Auberginen Würfeln – Creamy Polenta with Sausage Bolognese and diced Eggplants

2 Mins read

If you are in a hurry, and you still want to serve a delicious dinner, this dish is perfect. I usually make this Bolognese in big amounts and freeze portions. When you need some, just defrost it! We love Polenta! We add a lot of cheese to make it creamy! And this sausage Bolognese is perfect with it! You need some spice with the creaminess of the corn! As a vegetable I made diced eggplants, of course, why not?

Cremige Polenta mit Wurst-Bolognese und Auberginen Würfeln

Für 4 Personen:
Für die Polenta:
350-400 g grober Mais
250 ml Milch
300 ml Wasser
20 g Butter
1 TL Salz
Pfeffer
Ein paar Chili Flocken
50 g Reibkäse
50 g Frischkaese
50 g Butter

For 4 Persons:
For the Polenta:
350-400 g coarse Corn Grits
250 ml Milk
300 ml Water
20 g Butter
1 tsp Salt
Pepper
Some Chili Flakes
50 g grated Cheese
50 g Cream Cheese
50 g Butter

For the polenta heat up the milk water mixture with the salt, pepper, chili, and the 20 g butter. As soon as it boils slowly add the corn grits and start whisking with a wooden spoon. You must stay at the pan and whisk all the time, or the corn grits will spit all over your kitchen. Most polentas are cooked within 10-15 minutes. At the end add the butter, cream cheese and cheese and whisk again.

Here is the recipe for the Sausage Bolognese

For the Eggplants:
2 Eggplants
½ tsp Italian Herbs
Salt
Olive Oil

Dice the eggplants and fry them in hot oil, then season well and serve them with the polenta and sausage Bolognese.
