Hühnerbrust Würfel in Rotwein – Diced Chicken Breast in Red Wine

1 Mins read

I still had some chicken breasts at home and some leftover red wine. In the fridge I found spring-onion, chilies, and garlic. Put together it became a wonderful, tasty chicken fricassee, different than the usual creamy one. It is slightly Asian influenced. It’s a simple and easy dish and relatively quickly cooked. And my family really enjoyed it! So this dish will be cooked more often from now on!

Hühnerbrust Würfel in Rotwein

Für 4 Personen:
600 g Hühnerbrüste, in kleine Würfel geschnitten
3 Knoblauchzehen, gehackt
3 Frühlingszwiebeln, gehackt
1 kleine rote Chili Schote, gehackt
Salz und Pfeffer
Paprika
Rosmarin
2 EL Mehl
200 ml Rotwein

3 Spring-Onion, chopped
1 small red Chili, chopped
Salt and Pepper
Paprika
Rosemary
2 tbsp Flour
200 ml Red Wine
2 tbsp Sunflower Oil

Heat the oil in a wide pan and fry the garlic, spring-onion and chili in it. Season the chicken cubes and add the flour to them. Add them to the pan and fry on high heat for a few minutes. Add the red wine and let simmer for approx. 20 minutes. If you like you can thicken the sauce more with some cornstarch. Serve hot!
