Gnocchi an Tomatensauce mit Fuego – Gnocchi in Tomato Sauce and Fuego

2 Mins read

(Advertising through product recognition, cooperation) If I am alone at home, I usually cook something quick and easy. Gnocchi from the supermarket are easy to cook, just cook them in a sauce. I still had some big tomatoes and so I made a sauce with them. Of course, I seasoned everything with my favorite Fuego from Oswald, I just love this mixture! With Oswald’s seasonings you know there are only natural ingredients used! Here is my easy recipe!

For 2 Persons:
400 g Gnocchi ready-made from the supermarket (there are two kind of Gnocchi to buy. Some are semi dried and some are fresh, I will explain later how to cook them)
2 Beef Tomatoes
¼ Onion, chopped
3 cloves of Garlic, chopped
1 Rosemary Twig
1 tbsp Fuego from Oswald
Olive Oil
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
Grated Parmesan

Heat the olive oil in a flat pan and fry the onion and garlic in it. Add the tomato paste and mix well. Then add the chopped tomatoes, which I had peeled first. Season well and add the Fuego. Let the sauce cook for 5-10 minutes, then add the Gnocchi. The fresh soft Gnocchi can be cooked very short, they just need to heat up, but the semi-dried Gnocchi need much longer (approx. 10-15 minutes) and you might need to add some water, as the need to hydrate. Serve the Gnocchi with some grated Parmesan.
