Gewuerz-Salz – Herb-Salt

1 Mins read

I have a best-friend, who shares her birthday with me. We call each other twin sisters, much to the confusion of all other.  She is blond, I am brown, and we don’t look alike at all! Such a herb-salt is perfect for her birthday! I love to give homemade gifts, it’s far more personal and you can adjust to the persons taste. Especially now before Christmas everybody is looking for an easy, special gift, so this herb-salt comes in perfectly! Easy and quickly done, this is a delicious homemade gift!

Meine Mischung ist wie folgt:
1 Tasse Salz (Ich habe grobes und feines Meersalz gewaehlt)
1 EL groben Pfeffer
1 EL Paprika
1 EL Curry
1 EL Thymian getrocknet
1 TL getrockneten Rosmarin

My mix is as follows:
1 cup of Sea salt, I used coarse and fine one
1 tbsp Pepper
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tbsp Curry
1 tbsp Thyme
1 tsp Rosemary

All herbs need to be dry! Mix all of the ingredients well and fill into nice jars. Label them.
This salt is perfect for meats, chicken and french fries.
For the meat just rub it with the salt-mix using it as a dry marinade.
