
Cherry-Strawberry Jam with Schnapps

Cherry and strawberry jam with schnapps—a different kind of jam for a change! No sooner back than she’s cooking again. Yes, that’s how it is with me—off to the kitchen, that’s where I’m happy!
While shopping, I got 1 kg of cherries for the equivalent of 1 euro, so they must be good. I mixed them with strawberries and an apple and made jam out of them. It turned out nice and thick and tastes delicious. And it’s such a beautiful bright red!!!
Of course, these jams make excellent gifts, so today I’m taking a jar with me to give to my friend when I visit her to entertain her new cat.

Ingredients
800 g destoned Cherries
200 g Strawberries, cleaned and chopped
1 Apple, peeled and grated
1/2 Lemon, the juice
350 g Sugar
1 Bag Gelfix Super 3:1 from Dr. Oetker
100 ml Kirsch Schnapps
Instructions

Step 1
Alle Zutaten in einen tiefen Topf geben und gut vermischen. Langsam aufkochen. Sobald die Masse kocht, sorgfältig ca 10 Minuten aufschäumen lassen, dabei immer wieder umrühren.

Schritt 2
Nach 10 Minuten die Konfitüre vom Herd nehmen und mit dem Stabmixer pürieren.

Schritt 3
Sofort in saubere Glaeser abfüllen und verschliessen.
Notes
Die Konfitüre wird durch Hilfe des Apfels, des Zitronensafts und des Geliermittels wunderbar stichfest! Mehr Konfitüren!
