Pirates Rhum Punch
Pane-Bistecca
I mixed up a Pirates Rum Punch for a birthday party. The party’s theme was ‘pirates’, so the drink was a perfect fit.
It doesn’t matter at all whether you call this drink a punch or a cocktail! It has to taste good – that’s the most important thing! If you like, you can add pieces of fruit – papaya works really well, but apple or mango are good too. Then you can serve it like a fruit punch!
I needed a mixed fruit juice, preferably one with tropical fruits. Mine contained apple, guava, papaya, mango, peach and passion fruit. Of course, I had to add rum and a few other ingredients to give the rum punch a bit of a kick. It was a lovely drink to round off a brilliant evening.
