Panettone Tiramisu
Pane-Bistecca
We like to eat traditional panettone at Christmas. This panettone tiramisu was made from such a Christmas cake!
As my mother was Italian, it has been etched into my memory since childhood, and along with Christmas cookies, panettone is simply a must!
So, if you still have a panettone after Christmas and think it’s a bit dry, make a tiramisu out of it! It’s easy and tastes really good! You can also make it with pandoro for those who don’t like raisins.
A simple but very tasty dessert!

Ingredients
500 g Panettone
250 ml strong Coffee
100 ml Tia Maria or another Coffee Liqueur
500 g Mascarpone
100 g Icing Sugar
100 ml whipped Cream
Cocoa powder for sprinkling
Instructions
1
Step 1
Butter a gratin dish. Cut the panettone into slices approx. 2 cm thick. Place half of it into the dish.
2
Step 2
Mix the coffee with the liqueur and pour half over the panettone.
3
Step 3
Mix the mascarpone with the whipped cream and powdered sugar and pour half of it onto the first layer and smooth it out.
4
Step 4
Place the remaining panettone on top and pour the rest of the coffee mixture over it.
5
Step 5
Then spread the remaining mascarpone mixture on top. Sprinkle with cocoa powder. You can be very creative here, for example by placing a cut-out on top so that the powder fills the gaps.
