Here is a Mexican cauliflower recipe, which you clearly will cook again, once tried! Crispy, well seasoned and golden brown, just perfect! Cauliflower can be roasted, boiled, fried, steamed, or eaten raw. Cauliflower is low in fat, low in carbohydrates and high in dietary fiber, folate, water, and vitamin C. The oldest record of cauliflower dates back to the 6th century. In the 2nd century, Pliny included what he called cyma among his descriptions of cultivated plants in Natural History: “Ex omnibus brassicae generibus suavissima est cyma,” (“Of all the varieties of cabbage the most pleasant-tasted is cyma”). Pliny’s descriptions likely refer to the flowering heads of an earlier cultivated variety of Brassica oleracea, but comes close to describing modern cauliflower. (from Wikipedia)
