Strawberry-Kiwi Jam with Whiskey
Pane-bistecca
Strawberry-kiwi jam with whiskey, very tasty!
I cook my jams in a slow cooker. I find it much easier that way, and above all, there’s no mess or sticky residue in the kitchen.
Strawberries are in season right now and they taste great as jam. But I also like to mix things up, so I added some delicious kiwis. To make the jam a little more special, I added whiskey and then poured everything into small jars and gave them out as table prizes at a ball. Afterwards, I had quite a few requests for the recipe, so here it is!

Step 1
Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 90 minutes, turning several times so that the sugar melts well. Then cook on HIGH for 60 minutes.

Step 2
Set back to LOW and purée the mixture directly in the pot using a hand blender.
