Zwetschgenkern-Likör ~ Nachgekocht – Plum Pit Liqueur ~ copycat recipe

1 Mins read

Danke Janke!

“Who do I get to toast virtually with this Christmas? ” asks Janke on her blog Jankes Soulfood. With me!!!!! Because I’ve been recreating her Plum Pit liqueur. I had put it on in summer when I was in Europe, and then when I came back to Europe for Christmas, it was just right to strain. So not only can you eat well during the holidays, but you can also enjoy a homemade liqueur. The prepared liqueur became a golden water, which tastes wonderful! This is not only good for Christmas, but all year round! Thank you Janke!

Zwetschgenkern-Likör

Hier ist Jankes Rezept!

Zutaten:

  • 400ml Zwetschgenkerne
  • 200g brauner Kandiszucker
  • 700ml Wodka (40%)
  • 1/2 Vanilleschote ohne Mark

In Maßen genießen ♥

It’s very easy!
400 g Plum Pits (don’t use any broken ones!)
200 g Rock Sugar
700 ml Vodka
1/2 Vanilla Bean

Put the pits together with the sugar and the vanilla bean into a clean jar or bottle and add the Vodka. Close the bottle/jar tightly and leave marinating at room temperature for 4 month. Then pour the liqueur through a coffee filter paper into a clean and nice bottle. Cheers!
