In China serviert man gerne eingelegtes Gemüse zu allen Speisen. Deshalb dieses Gemischtes, eingelegtes Gemüse chinesische Art. Sie bringen etwas Säuere zu den Fleisch- oder Brot Speisen. Gerne werden sie eben zu Bao Brötchen oder in Eisbergsalat Blätter serviert. So macht man ein chinesisches Sandwich, man macht Fleisch, Sauce und Eingelegtes ins Brötchen, oder die Salatblätter und isst es so. Diese einfachen eingelegten Gemüsestreifen sind sehr schnell gemacht und passen wunderbar!

In China they serve pickled vegetables to almost all dishes. They add some acidity to the meal, to meat or bread. They are being served to bao buns or ice-berg salad leaves. It is like a Chinese sandwich, you add meat, sauce and pickles to the bun or into the lettuce leaves and eat it that way. These simple and nice and pickled vegetable stripes are made very quickly and fit perfect.

Gemischtes, eingelegtes Gemüse chinesische Art

Für ein Glas:
1 Karotte
½ Gurke
1 lange, gelbe Chili Schote
Das Grün von Schalotten
1 Rote Zwiebel

Einlegeflüssigkeit:
100 ml weisser Essig oder Reisessig
60 ml Wasser
1 TL Salz
¼ TL Zucker
1 Knoblauchzehe, in Streifen geschnitten

Alles Gemüse in ganz dünne ca. 5-7 cm lange Streifchen schneiden und in ein Glas geben. Die Einlegeflüssigkeit in einem Topf aufwärmen, bis Zucker und Salz geschmolzen sind und dann in das Glas zu dem Gemüse giessen. Das Glas sofort gut verschliessen. Dann gut schütteln! Mindestens 5 Stunden marinieren lassen.

For one Jar:
1 Carrot
½ Cucumber
1 long, yellow Chili
The green part of Shallots
1 red Onion

Pickle Liquid:
100 ml white Vinegar or Rice Vinegar
60 ml Water
1 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Sugar
1 clove of Garlic, sliced

Cut all vegetables into thin fine stripes of 5-7 cm length. Put them into a jar. Warm up the liquid for the pickles and warm until the salt and sugar has dissolved. Pour into the jar. Close the jar immediately. Then shake well! Let marinate for 5 hours.
