Asian Dipping Sauces

2 Mins read

Asian dishes are always served with dipping sauces. The best known one is the one served with the dumplings. But there are many more. As an example, roasted chicken is being served with a sticky dipping sauce and a seasoned salt, the fried wontons are served with a sweet and sour sauce. Instructions

Step 1

Dipping Sauce for Dumplings: Mix the ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
This is the traditional sauce to all Dumplings, fried or steamed! This fits well to the Chinese Shrimps!

Step 2

Honey Sauce: Mix all ingredients except the sesame seeds and ginger stripes together, sprinkle with the sesame and ginger.
It’s perfect to Dumplings and Char Siu.

Step 3

Spicy Soy Sauce: Mix all ingredients well together!
This sauce can be adjusted to taste by adding more chili paste. It fits to Rice, to Vegetables and Tofu.

Notes

I also always serve some chili sauce and roasted garlic on the side!
