Vanilla Panna Cotta with Chestnut Cream
Pane-Bistecca
(Advertising through product recognition, cooperation) I still work with the products of Oswald. One of the products I got from them is the Vanilla Ice-Cream Powder. I made already made Ice Cream and Muffins with it. I love using ready-made powders in a different way as intended. It smells so very deliciously of vanilla! I could get hooked on it!
So, I tried to think of a new idea and came up with these panna cotta desserts, served with a sweet chestnut cream. It was insanely good.

The 200 g leftover Chestnut Puree

Instructions
1
Step 1
Sprinkle the gelatin powder onto the cold water and let sit for 5 minutes.

Step 2
Meanwhile bring the milk and cream to a boil, then take from the heat. Pour in the gelatin. Start whisking and add the ice-cream powder, whisk vigorously for 3 minutes, then let slightly cool down.

Step 3
In this recipe there is no added sugar, as the ice-cream powder and the chestnut puree are both sweetened. Distribute the 300 g chestnut puree into the glasses. Then add the vanilla liquid and put them into the fridge for at least 4 hours. They should get hard like a flan.

Step 4
To serve go with a knife around the glass to loosen it and turn over onto plates. Serve with some of the chestnut sauce.
