In Gaensefett geroestete Kartoffeln – Traditional roast Potatoes

1 Mins read

I love roast potatoes! My best potatoes ever I had during my time living in England, since then I never had those potatoes again. Our friend served them with turkey for Christmas!  Here in Asia it is not easy to find the Goose-fat/Duck-fat, but shortly before Christmas I was able to find one glass. I went home and immediately cooked the potatoes. So many memories…..
The roast potatoes fit very well to all kind of roasts, chicken, goose, turkey; mmmm I’m in heaven!

Fuer 4 Personen:
1 kg Kartoffeln
3 EL Gaense- oder Entenfett
Meersalz

The longer you roast them the darker they get. Sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
