Diese Melonensuppe schmeckt for allem im heissen Sommer hervorragend. Da sie aus einer suessen Melone gemacht ist, ist sie auch leicht suesslich. Richtig kalt serviert, ist sie wirklich einmalg und eine Delikatesse! Als Snack serviert, passt sie zu jeder Zeit in den heissen Sommer, denn sie ist ganz schnell gemacht!

This melon soup is perfect for hot summer days! Because it is made with a sweet melon it also tastes a bit sweet. If you serve it really cold it is a delicacy! Served as a snack during the hot summer time, it’s a welcome refreshment. And it is prepared in no time!

Fuer 4 Personen:
1 Cantaloupe oder Charentais Melone
1 Zitrone, den Saft
50 ml Weisswein
Salz und Pfeffer
Ca 6 Eiswuerfel

Die Melone in Wuerfel schneiden und mit einer Prise Salz und etwas Pfeffer in den Blender/ Mixer geben. Die Eiswuerfel und den Zitronensaft dazu geben und alles puerieren. Den Weisswein dazu giessen und gut mischen. Die Suppe in Tassen abfuellen und sofort servieren. Ich habe sie mit Melonenkuegeln dekoriert, dazu passen auch Pfefferminzblaetter.

For 4 Persons:
1 Cantaloupe or Charentais Melon
1 Lemon, the juice
50 ml White Wine
Salt and Pepper
Approx. 6 Ice-Cubes

Dice the melon and put them into the blender together with a pinch of salt and some pepper. Add the ice-cubes and the lemon juice and blend. Mix in the white wine and fill into cups. Serve with some pieces of melon or some mint leaves.
