Schollenfilet in Kokosnuss Panade – Plaice Fillet in Coconut Crust

1 Mins read

Knusprig, saftig, leicht Kokosnussig…. einfach herrlich!

I found this wonderful Plaice fillet, it was so fresh it almost moved. It’s not hard here to find fresh fish, but it’s mostly fish for soups or it is very bland. This time I was so lucky to find this plaice fillet. It was one big piece and I didn’t want to cut it into pieces. It also looks so much better in one piece. I fried it in a crust of breadcrumbs and coconut. The result was wonderful! Crisp, fresh, juicy and nutty, just like we love it!

Ein ganzes Schollenfilet, an einem Stueck
2 Eier
Salz und Pfeffer
20 g Paniermehl
20 g Kokosraspel
Butter

One piece of Plaice Fillet
2 Eggs
Salt and Pepper
20 g Breadcrumbs
20 g grated Coconut
Butter

Turn the fish fillet over in the beaten and seasoned eggs. Mix the breadcrumbs and coconut together and pat it onto the fish fillet. Melt some butter in a wide pan and fry the fish fillet in it on both sides until well browned. Serve it with lemon juice or tartar sauce.
