
Oven-roasted Carrots with Honey

Delicious oven-roasted carrots with honey are very easy to make!
When he was a toddler, my son hardly ate any vegetables, but he wanted carrots on his pizza. Ahem… well, the main thing is that he eats vegetables! Now he’s a grown man and suddenly eats all kinds of vegetables, which is something I still have to get used to!
When he asked for carrots, I thought we’d do something completely different and roast them in the oven! I served them with a little honey and peanuts, and they tasted delicious! Of course I’ll make this delicious dish again!

Ingredients
500 g Carrots
Salt and Pepper
some Olive Oil
Honey to taste
1 Handful of Peanuts
Instructions

Step 1
Peel the carrots and cut them lengthwise into sticks. Place them on a baking sheet. Season well and drizzle with olive oil.

Roast in the oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the peanuts in a flat pan without oil, then crush them lightly.

Place the roasted carrots on a platter and drizzle with honey to taste, then sprinkle with the peanuts.
