Mirabelle Pie

Pane-Bistecca
Mirabelle plum is a yellow plum. It is said to be a cross between the plum and the cherry plum. It originated in northern Persia. I didn’t have to travel that far, because my sister-in-law has such a tree in her garden, of which I then got a sieve full. With them I baked a Mirabelle Pie.

Ouch, now I want some pie!
