Chocolate Mini-Apples
Pane-bistecca
We have here small, sweet apples they are perfect to make chocolate or caramel apples. Especially now, in the pre-Christmas period, you can use small sweets well, Santa Claus day is coming soon. Sure, you can make this candy with regular sized apples, or dip them in caramel, I like them better with chocolate.
And with this post we from #wirrettenwaszurettenist show that it’s not hard at all to make such things from chocolate yourself. The theme for this rescue is “anything made of chocolate” and I think the Christmas season in particular is perfect for that! It scares me every year how quickly Christmas is here again. At the beginning of the year it’s far away, poof it’s summer and then it’s Christmas right after that. So begins the Christmas cookie bakery, gifts buying, apartment decorating, just what you do before Christmas. Every year again, but I like to do these things very much!
Again I thank our Moderators of the #wirrettenwaszurettenist Group. Tamara from Cakes, cookies and more and Barbara from Barbaras Spielwiese. A big thanks goes to Britta from Brittas Kochbuch, who always creates such creative banners and a special thanks goes to Martin who keeps our files in order!

Ingredients
6 small Apples
100 g dark Chocolate
different toppings like “hundred-Thousands”, Chocolate sprinkles, Sugar Stars, colorful Sugar sprinkles, Gummibears, M&M’s, or melted white Chocolate.
6 wooden Skewers
Baking Paper
Instructions
1
Step 1
Place the apples in the refrigerator during preparation, as the chocolate will stick better if they are cold.
2
Step 2
Meanwhile, chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a double boiler. Prepare the toppings in small bowls.
3
Step 3
Remove the apples from the refrigerator and place each one on a wooden skewer. Dip the apples in the melted chocolate so that they are completely covered. Now hold them vertically over the bowl to allow the excess chocolate to drip off.
4
Step 4
Then roll the apple in the crumble mixture and place on the baking paper to cool.
Notes
These sweets can also be used for a buffet, or for a birthday, christening, or other celebrations. Use colors that match the theme, for example, white chocolate for a christening.
