A quick and easy recipe for finger-food and snack is this spinach and puff pastry roll. Actually, you can use anything to fill these rolls. I make them often they are so easy to do. I use to have puff pastry in my fridge, especially when I am in Europe and I always have some vegetables and cheese or pesto at home. So, if I get unexpected visitors, I can easily bake some of these rolls.

Here you can find the Tomato-Cheese Rolls, two different filled Puff Pastry Rolls, Pesto Rolls and the tasty Zucchini Roll.

Spinat-Blätterteig Rollen

1 ausgerollter, rechteckiger Blätterteig
100 g frischer Spinat
250 g Frischkäse
100 g Parmesan Splitter (kann auch gerieben sein)
Pfeffer
Rosmarin

1 ready rolled out, rectangle Puff Pastry
100 g fresh Spinach
250 g Cream Cheese
100 g Parmesan Shavings (you can also use grated one)
Pepper
Rosemary

Chop the spinach and mix it with the cream cheese and seasoning. Put the puff pastry onto a working surface and spread the cheese filling onto it. Sprinkle with the Parmesan shavings. Roll up the pastry from the wide side and cut 2-3 cm wide pieces with the help of a string. Put the string under the roll and cross the ends, pull at the ends to cut the roll. This helps to cut the roll easier without flattening it. Put the pieces onto a baking tray and bake in the oven at 200 C for 20-30 minutes. You can serve them warm or cold.
