We love Avocados and for Guacamole there’s always space on our table! But what is more beautiful than serving it on a handmade plate? Yes, my daughter kidnapped me on my last visit in Switzerland and brought me to a pottery workshop. Now I have some complete new handmade dishes to use! Especially this plate, looking like an avocado with it’s stone, had to be used immediately! Doesn’t it look fabulous?

2 reife Avocados
1 kleine Tomate
1/2 Zitrone, den Saft
Salz und Pfeffer
Cayenne Pepper

2 ripe Avocados
1 small Tomato
1/2 Lemon, the juice
Salt and Pepper
Cayenne Pepper

Scrape the flesh out of the avocado skin. I also put the stone into the bowl, they say, it will prevent the guacamole from turning brown. Mash the flesh with a fork, then add the finely chopped tomato, the lemon juice and the seasoning; mix well! You can store this up to 1 hour in the fridge. At my home it doesn’t last that long… that’s why I serve it in a small bowl with Corn Flour Tortilla Chips!

Tips:

  • Guacamole fits perfectly on a Hamburger!
  • Mixed with sour cream it’s a creamy dip!
  • Fill it into cherry tomatoes and they will be a delicate finger-food!
  • serve it with vegetable sticks!
