1 Mins read

I always have Pesto at home! I usually make at least 2-3 jars. I use Pesto for all possible recipes. For example I use it as Spread, as Marinade, as Sauce, as Filling or Topping. And sometimes I make something very new, like these little rolls. They are filled with pesto. It’s a very quick recipe, and they taste like Italy! And you only need 3 ingredients for it! This way you have a very creative and quick finger-food for a party or any visitors!

Man braucht:
1 ausgewallter Blaetterteig von ca 30×50 cm
1/2 Glas Pesto (Egal welchen Ihr benuetzt)
2 Handvoll Pinienkerne

You need:
1 rolled out Puff Pastry sheet of approx. 30×50 cm
1/2 Jar Pesto (You choose which one you like)
2 Handful Pine Nuts

Put the rolled out puff pastry onto a working surface. Put the pesto into the middle of the dough and brush onto the pastry. Leave 2 cm around the edges pesto-free. Roast the pine nuts quickly, then spread them onto the pesto. Carefully roll the dough up from the wide side. Let the roll cool for 15 minutes in the fridge. Then cut 5 mm thick slices and put them onto a baking tray. Bake in the oven at 200 C for 10-15 minutes. You can serve the finger-food warm or cold.
