Pfefferminz Erbsen – Mint Peas

1 Mins read

I like to serve minty vegetables to lamb. Peas are perfect for that! As we have lots of English and Australian friends, I like to cook them for them. They go crazy when they smell mint! This recipe is so easy!

Für 4-6 Personen:
500 g gefrorene Erbsen
10 ml Wasser
½ Bund Pfefferminze
Salz und Pfeffer
6 Schalotten, ganz fein gehackt
20 ml Sahne
10 g Butter

For 4-6 Persons:
500 g frozen Peas
10 ml Water
½ Bunch Mint
Salt and Pepper
6 Shallots, chopped
20 ml Whipping Cream
10 g Butter

Melt the butter in a pot and add the chopped shallots, fry shortly. Add the peas and move them around. Add the water and go on moving to thaw the peas. Add the chopped mint and season with salt and pepper. Go on moving them around. When the peas are thawed add the whipping cream and mix well. Let reduce a little and serve hot to lamb or beef.
