Gedämpfter Lauch mit Topping – Steamed Leek with Topping

Winter Gemüse einmal anders! Ich liebe Lauch, man kann so viele Gerichte daraus machen, wie diesen Gedämpfter Lauch mit Topping! Dieses Rezept ist ganz einfach, aber es sieht sehr schön aus, da es durch die Toppings Eleganz gewinnt. Und ich kann Euch verraten, Lauch schmeckt so noch viel besser!

Winter vegetables a different way! I love leek you can use it for so many dishes. This recipe is very simple, but the leek looks so elegant through the added toppings. And I promise the leeks tastes delicious with it!

Gedämpfter Lauch mit Topping

Für 4 Personen:
4 Lauchstangen
4 Knoblauchzehen
100 ml Weisswein
Salz und Pfeffer
Olivenöl
20 g Butter

Sauce:
2 EL Weisswein Essig
1 EL Zucker
1 Handvoll Sultaninen
1 Frühlingszwiebel, gehackt

Topping:
Feta Käse
Gehackte Walnüsse
Pfefferminz Blätter

Den Lauch der Länge nach halbieren und dann in ca. 10 cm lange Stücke schneiden. Etwas Olivenöl in einer flachen Pfanne erhitzen und die Lauchstücke darin kurz anbraten, die Knoblauchzehen ganz dazu geben. Mit Salz und Pfeffer würzen und dann den Weisswein dazu geben, kurz einköcheln lassen, dann etwas Wasser dazu geben und zugedeckt ca. 15 Minuten dämpfen. Den Lauch danach gut abtropfen lassen. Dann die Butter in derselben Pfanne erhitzen und den Lauch darin gut braten. Unterdessen die Zutaten für die Sauce in einem kleinen Topf langsam erhitzen. Dann über den Lauch giessen, mit gehacktem Feta, gehackten Walnüssen und gehackten Pfefferminz Blättern bestreuen und servieren. Dieses Gericht kann auch kalt serviert werden, wie ein Salat.

For 4 Persons:
4 Leeks
4 cloves of Garlic
100 ml White Wine
Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
20 g Butter

Sauce:
2 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp Sugar
1 Handful Sultanas
1 Spring-onion chopped

Topping:
Feta Cheese
chopped Walnuts
Mint Leaves

Cut the leeks lengthwise and into 10 cm long pieces. Add some olive oil to a flat pan and fry the leek pieces for a short while. Add the garlic, season with salt and pepper and add the white wine. Let reduce a little, then add a little water and cover with a lid. Let steam for 15 minutes. Drain the leek. Then heat the butter in the same pan and fry the leek in it. Meanwhile prepare the ingredients for the topping in a small pot and heat up. Plate the leek, pour the topping over them, add chopped feta, chopped walnuts and some mint leaves.
