Maiskuechlein, schnell gemacht – Corn Fritters quickly done

2 Mins read

If you need to cook in no time and if possible, just from your pantry, this recipe is perfect. That’s why I post it into the Kochtopf Blogevent “Einfach gut” from Verena from Verena’s Blog Schöne Dinge.

We love eggs and often eat them for breakfast. But also for dinner you can serve them or even as snack. That’s why these fritters are so easy, and you can make them with any ingredients you have at home. But when I have no time, then I use canned goods from my pantry. And I always have corn at home! Of course, you can use fresh corn, but you have to boil the whole corn first. I use leftover corn after BBQ’s, I just cut them off the husk. But usually I use canned corn, drain them and wash them, that’s what I always do with canned foods. A quick and simple recipe!

Fuer 2 Personen:
3 Eier
1 Buechse Maiskoerner
2 Fruehlingszwiebeln
1 Tomate

For 2 Persons:
3 Eggs
1 can of Kernel Corn
2 Spring-onions
1 Tomato
Salt and Pepper
4 tbsp Flour

Drain the corn and wash them quickly. Chop the spring-onions and the tomato. Mix all the ingredients together and heat some oil in a flat pan. Add two tbsp at a time to make patties. Fry them on both sides until browned. Serve them with a sprinkle of sea salt and a side salad or others.
