\n\t\tIn Europe, we associate Easter with eggs, chocolate, carrots, and pastries. Of course, we \u201chave to\u201d color eggs<\/a>, Egg breaking is a tradition in Switzerland. We hide small gifts for the children, who then go looking for them on Easter Sunday. Easter baskets are filled with chocolate bunnies and eggs, and the house is decorated.

\nTypical Easter menus in Switzerland include lamb’s lettuce<\/a>, Lamb meat<\/a>, different cooked carrots<\/a>, potatoes<\/a> and carrot cake<\/a>.

\nLamb is also a popular Easter dish in Italy. For dessert, people enjoy Colomba Pasquale, which is similar to panettone. There are also various Easter cakes, such as the Pastiera Napoletana<\/a>.
