Just the way we Swiss like it! Fresh bread for breakfast\u2014that&#8217;s so typically Swiss! <br><br>\n I know that this is certainly also the case in many other countries, but I also know that the Swiss are proud of their crispy, fresh bread. So here in Asia, I bake bread that comes as close as possible to the Swiss ideal.\n        <br><br>\nI have made many loaves of bread, such as this one <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2025\/04\/01\/rustikales-wurzelbrot\/\">Rustic Root Bread,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2021\/04\/12\/schweizer-ruchbrot-swiss-brown-bread\/\">the Swiss Brown Bread,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2019\/07\/03\/mein-landbrot-my-farm-bread\/\">my Farm Bread,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2024\/12\/01\/einfaches-vollkornbrot\/\">the simple wholewheat Bread,<\/a> and many more. I like to bake something new every now and then! <br><br>\nToday I&#8217;m bringing you rye and wholewheat bread with yogurt, which means I made two loaves from the mixture. Now add the yogurt and warm water and knead. Turn the dough 90 degrees and stretch it again, tucking it under the loaf. The steam allows the bread to rise nicely. If, like mine, they crack, they look really rustic! Then remove the water tray from the oven and let the steam escape, turn the oven down to 200\u00b0C and bake for another 30 minutes.\n\n<\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n
