Stuffed Lotus Root Cake<\/h3>
Pane-Bistecca<\/div><\/div>\n
\n Lotus root is something fine, it is very well known in Asia. I have made stuffed lotus root cakes! I mixed minced pork with spices and herbs, packed into slices of lotus and then fried them, breaded with sesame seeds.

\nI often use lotus for Chips,<\/a> they turn out better than potato chips, at least that\u2019s what I think! But you can also stuff them and then fry them, which also tastes very good. \n

\n\t\tLotus root has a few health benefits: it promotes blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, loosens mucus and reduces fever. <\/div>\n

    24 slices of Lotus Root approx. 3 mm thick (mine were thinner, so I put 2 slices on each side)<\/p><\/li>\n\t

    Sesame Seeds<\/p><\/li>\n\t

    Oil for frying<\/p><\/li>\n

    Filling:<\/h4>\n\t

    300 g minced Pork<\/p><\/li>\n\t

    3 cloves garlic, chopped<\/p><\/li>\n

  • <\/i>

    1 tbsp chopped Ginger<\/p><\/li>\n\t

    \u00bc bunch Parsley, chopped<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    1 green Chili, chopped<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    1 tsp Sesame Oil<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    2 Spring onions, chopped<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>
