Wilma’s colorful Butter Cookies<\/h3>

\n It will soon be Easter and I always associate Easter with bright colors. Wilma\u2019s colorful butter cookies are not only beautiful, but also very tasty. The good thing about them is that they are made from one dough and then modified with taste and color. It\u2019s all very quick and the cookies can be stored in a tin for up to 3 weeks.\n \n

    500 g soft Butter<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    200 g Sugar<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    1 Pinch of Salt<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    700 g Flour<\/p><\/li>\n\t \n\t \n\t <\/ul>\n\n\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

    Step 1<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Make a short crust pastry from these ingredients. Then divide\nthe dough into 4 parts.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 2<\/h4><\/div>\n
    \u2013 Mix one part very well with 1 tsp of lemon essence and 2 drops of yellow food coloring.
    \n\u2013 one part mix well with 4 drops of vanilla essence.
    \n\u2013 Mix one part with 2 tbsp of cocoa powder.
    \n\u2013 Mix one part well with 1 tsp of strawberry essence and 1 drop of red food coloring.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 3<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Now form each dough into long rolls approx. 2-3 cm thick and wrap in clingfoil and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 4<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Cut the cold rolls into slices approx. 5 mm wide and bake on a baking tray in an oven preheated to 200\u00b0C for approx. 12-15 minutes. Leave to cool well, otherwise they will break!\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
